Dust, Dust, Dust, Help, Help, Help
Thanks for your interest- I have posted a photo at:
http://members.optusnet.com.au/~moonsong/gallery.html
This is the best photo I have at the moment, but I would be happy to provide
more detailed shots of my other tools modified in a similar way (hammer
drill, diamond shaper, angle grinders) when I get to work tomorrow and have
access to a digital camera.
I use an industrial wet/dry vacuum with electronic switching, so that the
vacuum is activated by the tool being switched on- saves walking to & from
the vacuum. I have extended the inlet hose so the tool can be used up a
scaffold or in a separate room (useful in a church or a private house). The
vacuum cost $400 and I always use filter bags to protect the motor from the
abrasive dust.
