New subscriber & dust collector question
Hi Kevin, welcome to the list. Too bad you can't work outside
as that is the best way of dealing with the dust. My shop is
open on two sides, and the main bay is a 20 foot clerestory
with 4 large openings. Even still when using a saw or the
occassional grinder the air can get opaque rather quickly. I do
use a shopvac sometimes. particularily when working on a project
such as a sink or fountain basin where the chips and dust are
falling into the work area rather than away, but the fine dust
clogs the filter pretty quickly. I,m just a little ways down
the road from you in Liberty Hill, home of the Cordova Creme
quarries. If you'd like to get in touch, my contact information
is on my web site http://www.jvcstoneworks.com .
