Query about memorial stone, U.K. / Europe
I have received an enquiry that I should like to help with, but I don't
have sufficient knowledge. It is:
'My son died recently in a cycling accident. It is our intention to have a
memorial made in his memory. The memorial we would like will form a bench
in the shape of a surfboard. It will be erected on the north Cornish coast
in a very exposed position. We are looking for a granite which is very
light in colour so that it resembles the cream colour of most surfboards.
Could you please send me some information on the types of granite available'
If there is anyone in the group who has experience that might help, I'd be
very grateful if they could reply or e-mail me. I will then pass the
information on.
Many thanks,
Tim Palmer
