Introducing myself: Kip
Hi,
My powered saw works on the same principle as a 2m two man saw and was
originally designed to cut timber, my friendly saw sharpener recut the blade
for stone and diamond coated it. It work unbelievably well on marble
sandstone and granite and can cut 1.5 meters . $AU 600 approx $US 300.
I have seen a tungsten tip saw sold by the same people who make aerated
concrete blocks. (Hebel in Australia.) and as tungsten seems to work wonders
with sandstone it would be worth a try but they are not very long.
I reckon the best shot is to have your specialist saw sharpener make recut
the two man saw and have the teeth tungsten tipped.
How big are the blocks?
Regards Clive
