How to mount on rod and base size
I have an alabaster sculpture approximately 5 in in diameter and 17 in high.
I have drilled a 7/8 in hole approximately 8 inches in length. I would like
to use a steel rod welded to a steel box to mount this sculpture. The
sculpture is to turn on the rod. My question is how large (small) should
the base be to adequately balance the weight of this sculpture and how long
(short) can the exposed rod be?
