Subject: Angle Grinder Attachment?

Hi Bill,
A few years ago, I bought a $70 flex shaft to fit into my 1/2" drill for
grinding awkward places- turned out to be unusable as the shaft was too
flexible. It stored energy and slowed down as the grinder head abraded the
stone, then released it as the pressure was lifted, making the grinding
action very unstable.

I use a 3-phase flex shaft for wet polishing, but the shaft itself is 3/4"
diameter- too heavy for hard-to-reach places, but it is unstoppable.
I partly solved the problem by using an air-powered die grinder- it is more
powerful and smaller than the electric die grinder, and can be used wet.
