How can I turn Granite?
I have access to any amount of Granite I need. I also have some diamond
cutting discs and the ability to build machines. For a long time now I have
been wanting to make Turned Granite vessels.
I have Woodworking and Metal working experience and have the idea to saw
kerfs into the stone to create the hollow - then start smoothing out the
insides. Another idea is to set up a stationary grinder and rotate the piece
to create the round shape.
Any advice....?
