How can I turn Granite?

This is great. Thanks for the idea of using the drillpress. I may have to
speed up the blade though...
I see you are in Australia? What color of granite do you get there?
I can get mostly grey... but I can ask some guys to get me pieces of other
colors. a lot of scrap to be had.
I also have a lot of Slate available but will only use this for table tops.
and for sand carving.
What kind of saw do you use mostly?
