Stone Furniture
Hi Jack,
Megapoxy has a huge range of epoxy resins for stone:
http://www.megapoxy.com/
Car bog (automotive repair putty) is also OK- use synthetic iron oxides to
tint the epoxy resin (mortar additive)
Structural ply would be OK for a base for interior furniture, compressed
fibre cement for exterior. Use a flexible tile adhesive.
Grout mix- Sand: cement 2:1 for joints 2-5mm wide, 3:1 for anything wider. A
commercial grout from a tile shop will give a good finish
This site has some free downloads of Celtic stencils:

Regards,
Simon
