greetings of the season, happy days, a fortunate continuum and so forth...
I assume that many, maybe most of you know of Joe Chiffriller's "New
York Carver" website, http://www.newyorkcarver.com/news.htm? if not
you'll likely be interested in it. particularly the latest issue which
has a link to an interesting article about the Scandanavian origins of
Christmas.
my main reason for writing today is that I'm working on a magazine
article projectively titled "A Portrait of Porphyry" and invite any of
you with particular knowledge or information, thoughts, feelings,
expereiences etc. concerning this colorful, obdurate and noble material
to share them.
