Fixative
Jane,
I like to use an acrlic stone floor tile sealer to protect my pieces. It
gives a finish that is invisable on rough surfaces, keeps handling stains
from soaking in and easy to wash off, and keeps dust in its place! If you
rub on 3 or 4 coats on a polish surface you will get a great shine that is
harder than marble, so scratchs are reduced. I'm sure you can find something
like that in the UK.
