pneumatic hand facer; anybody seen one?
Ray at Trow and Holden says they used to make a lot of these and there out
to be a few out there holding open doors. They run a bush tool at 20cfm.
He says the union banned them "because they got too much work done",
though I guess there might be a blend of motivations one of which must be
that it can't be a fun tool to run for any length of time. He said they
sold alot of them to Kobe, Japan before the earthquake, where they used
them to resurface boulders for use in gardens. Sounds like a fun tool to
me. Trow and Holden will make them on order for a grand but I'd thought
I'd beat the bush for a used one. Anybody got any suggestions where to
look, E-bay doesn't have one at the moment? Bill Knight
