Hi George,

I have a 300 gal propane tank. The radiant heater I have is very
large....approx. 3.5 ft long......and puts out heat covering approx 21
ft in diameter. I don't have the stats on the heater as it was given to
me, is old and has no info listed on it. Using approx 1 gal of propane
for every 2 hours. My studio is a metal building, 12 ft walls, 24 x 36,
no insulation (yet), with an I beam and chain hoist that will lift 4
tons and 2 large sliding doors that open to 16 ft. One day a week I
work at a friends studio...3 side walls and we drop heavy plastic on the
4th side and fire up a wood stove.....and wear insulated coveralls even
when it's 20 degrees out ! AND for anyone willing to travel.....we have
a 2.5 day carving workshop here every June....black smithing and pottery
also. Complete with BBQ, live music and an art show including stone work.
