setting up a studio
Hi George, Robin, and all:
I am an advocate of radiant heating. This system heats the whole floor, even
outdoors. Your feet will stay warm and therefore your body will need less
clothes, so you can work better with lighter coveralls. The are electric
(resistance) and gas or propane systems (recirculation of warm water).
The initial investment of radiant heating is a bit too expensive, but
operation is minimal. Electric heating is the opposite: low investment and
high operating costs for lifetime(watch out), but once you are familiar with
floor heat, you will never want to substitute it. Pls. check under "radiant
floor heating" in a search engine or in your yellow pages.
Good luck from South America.
Hugo
