Medieval working drawings
I checked out the magazine that Jacques suggested. ( I am trying to
learn to speak French). While I was trying to figure out how much it would
cost (123 Euros = $196.23 Canadian dollars)....I looked at the form, where
it asked your proffession. Along with architect....it had graveur,
marbrier, sculpture, carrier, transformateur, granitier, Taileur de pierre,
possur....wow! Maybe Jacque...you could tell me if all these trades employ
people who work with stone? There seems to be a lot more employment and
respect for "Brothers and Sisters of the Dust" in Europe. I am in the
south-western corner of Alberta ca.. I finally have my work in a gallery at
Waterton National Park....but sometimes I feel like I am the only one in
Alberta who sculpts stone! I am really thankful for the discussions that
take place on this list! Elle
