Medieval working drawings
Can you explain a little about this book you recommended? I have had not
much luck searching for stereotomy and stone cutting
Simon
well to give an exemple, they explain how and why a roman key stone holds
everything in place, the calculations to cut the angles so that a door or
window opening dusent colaps. Ever wonder how the arches in gotic churches
old it all together? that would be in this book. All I'm wondering thought
is if there would be a similar book written in the states? could someone
anser that one?
Jacques
