carving question
Andrei,
After the curved shape has been roughed out by chamfering, use a flat chisel
to work across the curves just in the area where they meet.
At the intersection of the shapes, stop the chisel on the desired line.
Work from both directions, perpendicular to the intersection line, removing
excess stone while making sure the chisel doesn't ever go past the line you
want to keep.
Simon
