Pneumatic tools killed thousands in Barre, VT
I have noticed that Italian carvers on t.v. and in books, don't seem to
use respirators while working outside. The same seems to be true of the
Inuit. I normally use all my safety gear...but lately, while working
inside, and with hand tools...I am slacking off. I always use a respirator
(I am interchanging this word with mask.) while using pneumatic and power
tools, because they make phenomenal amounts of dust! I have to say that I
enjoy the freedom of not using a mask. My safety glasses always fog up, and
I can't see as well. I am not advocating not wearing a mask... May be I
just need glasses that don't fog and scratch as easy? Elle
