3d computer modelling
I'm finding that the combination of the wings 3d program (
http://www.wings3d.com ) for objects and Bryce for rendering those objects
in various materials and viewing under various lighting and background
conditions seems to be easy and useful.
Exporting and importing the wings objects as .3ds files gives you planar
objects in Bryce and exporting and importing as .obj files gives smoothed
objects. It all depends on what one is trying to do.
