Cuturi air hammer... stopped working! Please Help!

Nicole,

There has been a lot of talk about rapping the hammer on wood, but I
think not all raps are the same.  When my cuturi freezes, I oil it,
hook up the air, and then rap it progressively from light to medium to
hard on the tool end on a piece of wood.  In other words, there is no
chisel in it but the chisel opening is rapped on the wood, holding the
tool vertical.  That has worked for me every time.
