Air Hammers
Hi Mike,
I have both Cuturi and T&H hammers in my shop. There are slight differences
in design(described to me by the T&H people at stone expo) but basically
they are the same. I use them both with great regularity. My recomendation
for a first hammer to use in softer stone--- a 3/4 inch short stroke like a
T&H type "B" . heavy enough for some stock removal, and smooth enough for
some real detailed carving.
Good luck,
John VanCamp / JVC Stoneworks
