Cuturi air hammer... stopped working! Please Help!
One thing that I find myself doing when one of the hammers starts to act up
is running a little wd-40 through it at a real slow speed for just a few
moments. Have often squirted a bit of the wd-40 down the tool end of the
hammer while doing this. ( make sure you are away from your stone, and have
a good rag in hand ) seems to desolve some of the built up crud and spits
it out. Then I oil the hammer as usual, and go back to work with a smoother
running tool. As for the tap on the work table or wood block. That seems
to be standard operating proceedure for any of the hammers I have--
Particularily when the air line is not wide opened.
