vandalized granite
William,
I'm sorry to say that the only solution to the skateboard and bicycle damage
is to get rid of the kids who are doing the damage. In other words, wait for
them to grow up. The fad of doing tricks with skate boards will get old,
someday. We can only guess what kids will come up with in the future.
I've done some clean up and repairs from this kind of damage around Buffalo.
The kids like to rub candles on the corners of stone benches to make them
even more slick, so in addition to rubber marks and metal scratches which
rust, and chips from banging bicycles on edges, we have dark wax stains .
Good luck
George Graham
