Thanks Simon, for the peek through your little window !!  Your job
sounds great !  It certainly makes life easier when we love what we do !
I wish we had more people around here interested in learning stone
carving.  A fellow carver and I try to teach a 3 day workshop each June
but have a hard time finding interested participants......

When I was at Oxford University, years ago, a fellow student was from
Australia and mentioned that continuing education was supported and
encouraged by the government.......Sweden has a similar program,
also....folkhogskolas....schools for the people.....for a week you  stay
in a dorm and can take classes such as pottery, weaving, photography
even classes for the blind.....

Anyway.....it's nice to know there are lots of folks interested in
stone....I, too, love reading all about everyone's experiences and
really appreciate the 'masters' sharing their expertise with us novices !
