carcinogenic blades
It all comes down to a question of semantics. Some states (like California)
have passed legislation declaring their own definition of 'carcinogenic' and
what sorts of things fall into this category. This is a difficult issue to
clearly define, seeing as how most things in this world, whether naturally
occurring or man-made, will cause cancer in large doses. California has a
reputation for playing it safe in this regard and has stricter environmental
regulations in many areas than the rest of the US. Thus, when reading the
"carcinogenic warnings from the State of California" label on a diamond saw
blade, remember that peanut butter can also be a carcinogen if you eat too
much of it, and use common sense.
