Subject: dust masks

The link to the industrial safety site got me to thinking that a lot of
people refer to "dust masks" as being necessary, but really I think that a
full respirator as shown on this link is what is needed for hazardous dust
such as possible asbestos in soapstone, correct? Is limestone (and I know
that it can vary greatly) the only 'safe' stone to carve?

Thanks,
Karen
