bankers, lifting, fire sharpening
"Subject: bankers, lifting, fire sharpening
Another idea for a banker is cindercrete blocks. They can be adjusted for
height (although manually) and are very solid."
This is the first time that I responded to a thread; however, I wanted
to comment on the idea of using "cindercrete blocks". My comment only
applies if cindercrete blocks are the same as what I call cinderblocks.
When I was a kid (I'm 60 now.), I remember my neighbor almost being
crushed by a car that he was working under. The front end of the car
was supported by cinderblocks. They supported the car for 2 days, but
unexpectedly gave way while my neighbor was under the car. My dad said
the man was dumb for using cinderblocks because they weren't solid like
fired bricks and would crumble when subjected to very heavy loads.
