setting up a studio
One more thing.......when I was looking for a contractor to build my
studio I took my plan, drawn to scale, and asked for estimates from a
number of professionals. The estimates, for a metal, pole type
building, 30 x 24, ranged from 15, 000 to 27,000 and construction time
was at least 1 month. This was something I simply could not afford. By
chance, I found a fellow putting a metal roof on a new home nearby.
After talking with him I gave him my drawing and his estimate was for
5,000.....it took 3 men, 3 days and my studio was done ! The builders
were Mennonites and are well know in this area for the fabulous work
they do !
So.....check around and check some more !!
