green stone

I would like to introduce a slightly different perspective on your question.
I think you should be open to the qualities of any piece of stone you come
to work with and how that might modify your original ideas. Creating things
is always an interaction between the original idea and the materials used,
being very aware of the way the stone is and what it can do might lead you
to a result you hadn't dreamed of when you started.
