carving ethics
Dear Norman
I would like to put a word in for the process. For me it is not important
which tools one uses. However, I get a great deal from the process and am not
particularly concerned with the finished piece until it is finished. Each step
along the way my art becomes a greater part of me. That being said, I use
hand tools only and am never bored. I work and apprentice with a carver who used
only power tools and his work is great and his ethics are never in question.
Do what pleases you because it your art and your joy.
Geri Brown
