dust collector
I recently had to replace my heat pump, and consequently, the air
handling unit as well. Before the heating guys carted away the old
stuff I stripped the blower off of it and mounted it in a small window
with a 12" flexible duct attached. I thought it would be a good
supplement to my existing 1.5 horsepower blower. The thing is a monster
air mover, and would probably do the job by itself.. If I don't open a
window for cross ventilation, it will suck air from all over the house.
So you might visit some heating and air conditioning contractors to see
if they have any old blowers, with motors, lying around. These things
are very effective.
