Tim, thank you once again for your lucid and to the point exegesis. Too bad
I can't really comprehend it! It is sublime and I can not grasp it.
Crystals growing in new orientations and insolubles being forced around; the
wheels of my mind spin. You are most gracious to offer your time and I will
keep your writing for future reference.
Reading an early archived discussion of wedges and splitting a writer
mentioned the term rift to describe the ridges of grain that can appear when
a stone has been split with the grain. A direction through which the stone
might rift.
