beginners tools in Oz
I have been using Guillet 'Univers' lettercutting chisels for some years
which I have sent from the excellent PISANI in London. I now give the = worn
chisels to friends and students, the assumption being that there is lots of metal left for learning and practising with, but the tool has given me its best 85%, say, for my higher level inscriptions. Ultimately though, everyone will need the delightful crisp clarity of the new chisel in their
work.
