straight edges
Kevin,
Try using a chunk of roofers chalk. Rub onto anykind of straight edge, and
then drag the board or bar back and forth across the surface to find the
high places. Most hardware stones carry them in red ocher , solid chunks
that roofers use to color their chalk lines.
