limestone symposium
Folks were inquiring recently about limestone availability and carving. I
just received the notification for the 8*th Annual Limestone Sculpture
Symposium to be held during the month of June outside Bloomington Indiana.
I have attended in the past and can recommend the symposium without
reservation. I wish I could go every year.
The Bybee Limestone Company is a partial sponsor and the supply high grade
sculptural stone. http://www.bybeestone.com
The John Waldron Arts Center, 122 South Walnut St, Bloomington, IN 47404 is
the contact for the symposium.
Their website is http://www.artlives.org
812-334-3100.
