Tenax Hydrex
Please tell us more about Tenex Hydrex ,Clive .Like where you get it,
contact info , etc....Perhaps we could get a tech sheet on it. I am
wondering if anyone has tried any other sealants in order to keep polished
areas polished looking outside...A large Bear sculpture carved from
Tennessee Marble in the Pepsico Sculpture Gardes in NY has some type of
seal on it that seems to be working quite well. Also , Bill i am wondering
about the Colorado marble you are talking about with large crystal
structure....the Stone I most recently used was a very nice tight grained,
small crystal perfect white....excellent for figure carving. The best by far
however was a white marble from Greece. I bought it from another artist and
would love to find a source for it.Any ideas?..........An lastly, I
heartily second the recommendation to visit BrookGreen Gardens any time of
the year . It has the largest collection of figurative outdoor sculpture
in the USA and will provide years of inspiration to those with a
figurative bent.....Perhaps We should have a piss-up
there All the Best, William Moore
