polishing stone birdbaths
I have been carving stone birdbaths for some time now mostly in granite and
other hard rocks from here in the pacific northwest. For a long time I would
rough out the birdbath and leave it as a rough finished product.
I have begun to use diamond polishing grits up to about 800 with a wet
polisher and would like to apply something that is non toxic to the finished
surface that would give the bowl of the birdbath a wet look.. Does anyone
have a suggestion?
