Marble resistance to Weather +
Hi Cilve,
Pleasure to adress you.
I really enjoy my T&H Bantam. I like very much the smaller scale chisel it
carries. 5/16", I guess. I like the 3 and 5 point carbide tip as well as
the 1/8" tip flat point. If you are within 1/8th inch of where you ant to
be its super. Great for working into "corners", where one plane broaches
another in a recess. Can carve very close to finish, with a minimum of
stunning and respectively necessary rasp work.
I also use a T&H I" long stoke for roughing, and the 3/4" B T&H shortstroke.
The 3/4" B is a fine tool, though I have always associated it with larger
chisels than the Bantam, perhaps it can run the finer sized chisels as well.
A look in the catalog will reveal that to me soon.
Bill
