maquettes
Linda and Bill,
What kind of clay do you use? Hard, soft? Plastilina, or wet? The
reason I asked the original question is that I usually work from a
drawing or just out of my head (hmm), but I just bought my first ever 1
tonner and it's sitting there intimidating me into better planning. I
tried some wax left over from a foray into bronze, but it does seem to
inhibit spontaneity.
Usually, everything in a given piece just seems to work out, provided I
start with a clear idea in mind. With this big new rock, I feel the
need for a more organized approach. Thanks for your help.
