letter-cutting chisels
I've invested in some carbide chisels and am in the process of having a
bigger piece of slate sent from Vermont than my common sense allows. Plus
some small pieces bought locally to practice with.
The chisels come with the quaint warning that they "will surely break sooner
or later" if I:
only use the corner hit the stone with less than chisel full width drop it
The first two seem nigh well impossible when lettering!
