cultural relevance?
Bill,
I think we are getting closer, or as close as we need to get in this
forum. I think the rest is up to me. As a researcher I find there is
always deeper water than what I can wade. There is always something
deeper going on, smaller than I can resolve, and more complex than I
can grasp.
You know, I never did much of the arts route during my education, so I
guess I'm bringing a lot of juvenile sophistry to these conversations.
Its funny how we change. My father was a hard nosed psychologist, a
believer in the number. Now retired, he pursues Buddhist meditation.
Maybe I'm following him.
But right now I'm struggling with the price of a stupid piece of slate,
the highest price so far for a 3/4" x 30" x 30" slab is $310 + tax,
you'd think it was a freaking semiprecious stone!
