Subject:
cultural relevance?
Is this kind of an intellectual mid-life crisis? A feeling that maybe you
have missed out on something that you now want to explore? In high school ,
I was 100 per cent sure I was a right-brained artistic type who needed to
make a living in some creative field. After a few years of studying art in
college, this idea wore thin and the concrete sciences with definite yes or
no answers began to feel very comfortable by comparison. I'm starting to
realize that those yes and no answers are not always so definite, and
conversely, there is more science to art than I first believed. Today I
code medical insurance claims during the day, and indulge in stone carving
during the evening. The balance makes me content.
