a ? for JVC
Hi Robin,
For the most part, I purchase my material sawed six sides to
needed dimensions. With the advent of the new generation
computer guided diamond belt block saws, material can come right
off of the saw and onto the banker, already true and square.
Previously, sawed stock would need to be run through the planer
to true and square it . Some jobs I will have the stone mill
plane straight line profiles, rough shape with the band saw, or
lathe work if turnings are needed. However, most of the work
begins with the sawed six side stock.
