Yes, there is a heavy weight version- it's called concrete! <:-)
I know the natural stone material you are looking for, scoriaceous /
vesicular basalt: http://www.uwm.edu/Course/422-100/basalt.data.html, but I
think it can be difficult to source in big lumps.
Being porous, Hebel block (or your local version of AAC), fosters the growth
of algae and traps dirt if used outdoors. A coating of natural-look acrylic
sealer will protect it. A traditional lime wash (tinted or natural) would
work well too.
I have seen Hebel Block used for sculpture installation in public areas with
only a coat of acrylic sealer or paint to protect it- seems to stand up to
