slate and ?
Norman,
Exactly what do you want in slate ? I have found a stack of green slate
tiles......approx 16 x 16 ( i didn't actually meas.)
They are for flooring so not too thick and one side is smooth. [AT] $20 a cu
ft plus shipping it might be cheaper ....at least for practice
pieces......since lettering isn't something I do I don't know if this will
work or not......I can check into it further if you're interested.
Also, does anyone have opinions about a stone called scirraco (sp) green...I
have found a piece approx 7800lbs and can't get it out of my mind. It's a
beautiful stone....green stripes of varying shades and some
white.......suppose to be not as hard as granite or marble.......
