sawing
Hi Bill,
A saw like this would not be readily available because most cuts through a
6" slab would be done using a circular saw, with at least an 18" diameter
blade.
You could have a hand saw blade manufactured and fabricated with diamond
teeth through a diamond tool manufacturer- but it would be an expensive
one-off, and very slow to use.
Why not invest instead in a power machine (or follow John's suggestion and
hire an existing plant)? DIMAS http://www.dimas.com have a big range of
hand-held and rail or wheel-mounted machines for handy cutting. Have a look
at their plunge-cut diamond chain saws and ring saws (under Diamond Tools
and Machines) or download their catalogue (under The Company)
Regards,
Simon
