"For getting in to the stone and roughing out I would us a
Milwaukee 12 amp variable speed angle grinder. I forget
the model number but is the one that is Variable speed.
Best place to buy Amazon.com. I would put a diamond
circular blade on the from 5" to 10". "
I love hearing what others are using as far as tools go. Bill, I have a
question on your recommendation for the Milwaukee angle grinder. I looked
on Amazon.com and saw that the product that most closely matched your
description holds a 4-1/2" blade or disc. When you recommend putting on a
diamond blade up to 10" in diameter, how does that work? Are you removing
the plastic guard that fits a 4-1/2" blade? Is it safe to operate an angle
grinder without the guard and with a larger blade than is recommended? Or
am I looking at the wrong tool?
I would love to hear your and others' thoughts about the matter.....
