removing guards on grinders
Have to chime in here...we actually just finished a discussion about grinder
related injuries in the blacksmith's junkyard

Everyone here is an adult (near as I can tell anyway), and if you want to
remove the guard on your grinder, or do something else less than
recommended, well that's your right. Just please be careful, grinders are
wonderful things (have 3 angle grinders, myself) but they'll tear off flesh
as readily as they will stone or steel.
