Source for screw on grinding cones
Braxton Bragg has them, as well as local tool suppliers. They are silicon
carbide, made of the same material as the cup wheels. Usually any place
that sells the cup wheels should have them. They come in rounded cone and
pointed cone shapes, in various sizes, usually about 2-3 inches in length or
so. They also have side grinding silicon carbide cupwheels that are either
2 or 3 inches in length, 3 inches in diameter. These are available in grits
from 24 to 500. Price is usually US $4.50 to about $8.00. Maximum speed on
these is usually around 12,000 rpm. When they get clogged, you just clean
them with a dressing tool which can be purchased for about $10.00.
I would think that any industrial tool supply co. would carry these.

In a recent post you said "I use them with smaller grinding cones (5/8ths
threads that just screw on)." Where did you buy these screw on grinding
cones?
