holding air hammers
I agree, I find the hammers darn uncomfortable. They have a hard edge
at the back end like a simple cylinder, the knurling is too fine to
hold them well, the hose clamps get in the way, and the tap lever is
way out on the whip catching on stuff and changing the air setting. I
can't believe these things haven't changed after so many years of
making them. It reminds me of scuba gear 20 years ago, or old-fashioned
ice screws for climbing -you couldn't get them in and you couldn't get
the ice out. The new products are so much better thought out. I suppose
there just aren't enough carvers to warrant changing the hammers.
